Last updated: September 2026. In these terms "we", "us" and "Shipra" mean Shipra, and "you" means the customer who books a delivery.
We arrange the collection and delivery of goods by road in the United Kingdom. We may use independent, self-employed couriers to carry out deliveries. We remain responsible to you for the delivery as set out in these terms.
We give you a quote for each job by phone, message or email. It is based on the addresses, vehicle, load and timing you gave. A booking is accepted when you confirm the quote and we confirm the job. We may re-quote if the addresses, load or timing differ from what you told us.
New customers pay by card at booking. Approved trade account customers are invoiced weekly and must pay within 7 days unless agreed otherwise. Prices are as stated in your quote and are subject to VAT where applicable. We may charge interest and reasonable recovery costs on late payments as allowed by law.
After 10 free minutes at collection or delivery, waiting time is charged at the rate stated in your quote. If a delivery cannot be completed because no one is available or the address is wrong, we may return the goods or hold them, and charge for the extra time and mileage.
You may cancel before a driver is assigned at no charge. After a driver has been assigned or is on the way, we may charge a cancellation fee up to the full minimum charge. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
We do not carry cash, alcohol, tobacco, dangerous or hazardous goods, medical samples, livestock, illegal items, or goods with a value over unless we agree otherwise in writing. You must declare the value of goods accurately at booking.
You must package goods suitably for road transport, label them clearly and give accurate contact details and access instructions. You confirm you are entitled to send the goods.
We take a photograph and, where possible, the recipient's name as proof of delivery.
We are responsible for loss of or damage to goods while in our care, up to the declared value of the goods and a maximum of per consignment. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or delay unless caused by our negligence, and then only up to the price of the delivery. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be limited by law.
Report any loss or damage to us in writing within 7 days of the delivery date, with photographs and proof of value. We may need to inspect the goods and packaging.
Delivery times are estimates. Traffic, weather and access issues can cause delays outside our control.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If any part is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
